Roentgenologic Study of 500 Cases of Cholecystobiligraphy

Abstract
Following results are radiological study and analysis of 500 cases of cholecystobiligraphy during the period of 5 years from the 1961 to the 1965, who were suspected biliary system disease at National Medical Center.
1) Over all sex ratio of the material was 204(40. 8%) males to 296(59, 2%)females. The female was more than male and most highly affected age was31-60.
2) 212. cases were normal and 288 cases were abnormal findings on the radiography among the 500 cases.
3) Average length and diameter of gall bladder and common bile duct was 6.93X2.96cm and 5.5mm in normal findings and 14.7m diameter in abnormal findings.
4) 35 cases (72%) were radiolucent stone and 13 cases (28%) were radiopaque stone in total 48 cases of gall stone.
5) Most high ratio was 201 cases(69. 7o) of non visualization of gall bladder in total abnormal findings of 288 cases.
6) Most well visualization time of common bile duct was 40¡¾4min after injection of biligrafin in normal cases and 120 min¡¾5 min in abnormal cases.
7) 140 cases were elevated alkaline phosphatase and 60 cases were elevated bilirubin in total 288 cases of abnormal radiographical findings of liver function test.
8) Most high incidence was 62 cases of gall stone (which most of them were radiopaque stone) proved by the 82 cases of operation.
